The Commercial Manager is accountable for hitting the revenue targets at the NCP's car parks within their territories of Manchester / Glasgow / Belfast and surrounding areas. Over time, the Commercial Manager will take on increasingly responsibility for full P&L management.

The Commercial Manager needs to leverage all internal resources to support their outcomes, complying with internal processes as appropriate.

Salary Range

£45,000 + Car allowance £5,000 per ann

  • Create annual plans for each car park, including revenue, new site and digital objectives.
  • Local advertising and field marketing activity to drive traffic to your sites
  • Car Park Tariffs
  • Local partnerships
  • Leverage NCP national partnerships, clients and digital campaigns
  • Work in partnership with other functions to influence and create relevant customer and market propositions.
  • Work closely with the sales team to deliver season ticket and B2B revenue to support car park revenue.
  • Monitor local competitor activity and use it to develop appropriate strategies to maximize profit potential.
  • Onboard new sites into your territory and ensure targets are met.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • End to end sales experience, and/or multi-site commercial/retail experience
  • Developing new and existing business relationships with clients and customers
  • Strong financial/commercial acumen and understanding of the end to end P&L process
  • Experience of setting pricing models e.g. for car parks, retail sites etc.
  • How to consistently improve volume and yield aspects per site working cross functionally


  • Communicate clearly articulating financial complexity into a meaningful output with the ability to influence all levels of stakeholders
  • Construct and sell commercial deals to prospective clients
  • Analyse data to drive commercial decisions which consistently support market share growth
  • Analyse financial reports and be able to extract data which would influence performance and opportunity
  • Strong collaboration skills - ability to work collegially and cross functionally to ensure the successful delivery of our strategic goals
