The RPA Compliance Officer serves as a liaison between clinicians and finance, and with departments, Directors and Managers throughout the health system.


Responsibilities include planning and conducting compliance audits and reviews as per the bi-annual risk assessment, OIG Reports. In addition the position will be responsible for drafting reports for the Director of Audit Services & Corporate Compliance Officer, presenting findings and following up on implementation of recommendations and supervising additional personnel should they be needed. Projects include research, writing, interviewing, benchmarking, data analysis and other use of tools and techniques to address the audit and compliance needs of the organization. Additional responsibilities include overseeing effectiveness of on-going quality monitors impacting compliance and assess internal controls for process improvement, and assisting in and/or presenting reports to Executive Management, Administrators, Directors and Managers as needed. The RPA Compliance Officer shall conduct all audits in an objective, nonjudgmental and independent manner.


Experience Required: Clinical knowledge/experience.

Experience Preferred: Physician office coding and management. Extensive knowledge of healthcare IS systems and relevant regulations.

Education Required: Certification in Coding

Schedule Details

Day shift. 40 hours weekly. 8:00a-4:00p.
