We are looking for a Digital Marketing Production Executive to help our marketing and editorial teams with email marketing and website support and to work with divisional marketers to get the best results out of their digital marketing efforts. Your primary focus will be in enabling and supporting our various users to deliver campaigns within Marketo and you will play an important part in defining and delivering the marketing automation strategy alongside our brand stakeholders. Responsibilities: Email marketing and automation support: Create and test effective HTML email marketing collateral using the Marketo email template system for the Wilmington marketing teams Plan, setup, send and track the results of email campaigns using our marketing automation platform Marketo Build and embed forms and tracking code in websites, and work with the marketers to measure the effectiveness of these campaigns Build Marketo landing pages for data capture Provide fixes to emails with render issues / suggestions for email best practices Provide support and advice on Marketo issues and questions Identify and incorporate new or improved practices using Marketo Enable our divisional marketing teams to maximise their usage of Marketo through training and support Oversee work carried out by an external resource team and quality control it Website support: Work with the digital team to introduce new features to the Drupal websites Work with the HSJ editorial team to edit and publish the weekly podcast Build, maintain and update divisional marketing and ecommerce websites using Drupal CMS and the Abacus-Advance online-publishing CMS We always support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to tick most of these boxes... We know it s not a skill, but the successful candidate must have permission to work in the role s location by the start of their employment. You should have the following experience: Minimum of two years hands-on experience with marketing automation (Marketo/Eloqua/Pardot etc ) or email marketing platforms (MailChip, Adestra, Exact Target, DotMailer, eCircle etc ) Marketo knowledge particularly on campaign logic and email template syntax is desirable Experience in AB testing is desirable Ability to hand-code (write) HTML and CSS is highly desirable, but a demonstrable understanding of both languages and the ability to spot code errors (bug-fix) is acceptable Experience working with both marketing, database and/or website technology teams is highly desirable Experience of editing audio or working with podcasts desirable Experience working with email test platforms (Email on Acid, Litmus etc) and the ability to identify email render issues and provide fix solutions is essential Experience building and maintaining websites using a combination of CMS and WYSIWYG coding tools is essential Keen interest in the latest developments, industry trends, and best practices for digital marketing, analytics and marketing technology platforms and tools. Able to deal with multiple stakeholders and requirements is essential Specific Skills & competencies: Marketo or similar marketing automation platform experience HTML, CSS Photoshop or similar Drupal, WordPress or similar CMS Web analytics (Webtrends, Google Analytics or equivalent) An understanding of GDPR Experience working in an agile environment a plus If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on APPLY today
