The Role Our client is an international law firm advising on complex disputes and transactions via an integrated international network. Key sectors include Energy, Real Estate, Transport, and Infrastructure with year-on-year growth owed almost entirely to a focused organic strategy. The next stage in the firm s growth plan is to achieve full-service strength within core sectors across the global platform. The Global Head of IT Service brings together both the operational and information governance requirements of the IT department and the wider firm. This senior role is wide-ranging and encompasses driving IT service management and training excellence, and the development and management of the IT governance and information security function. The individual will work closely with the Senior IT Leadership team, Business Functions Directors and other key stakeholders within the firm to define, prioritise and deliver IT services and information security governance and best practice Whilst not a technical role, a good understanding of key technology and information security concepts is expected. The ideal candidate will have 10 or more years of experience in IT (ideally with some legal IT experience) with five or more years of progressive leadership responsibilities with experience in effectively managing teams and influencing key stakeholders. The firm is based in London and the location is easily commutable from the surrounding boroughs.
