Job Summary:

The marketing assistant can expect to assist in the marketing efforts of the company including but not limited to events, canvassing, sponsorships, networking, digital, and print marketing efforts. This position is currently part time but will have the ability to become full time.



Create a minimum of 15 posts a month creating a mix of product education, promotions, projects, and any other content deemed appropriate to the brand and company. Utilize a mix of media


Prepare and schedule social media posts across multiple platforms.

Boost post when fit and stay on budget

Create current content using stories/reels/tik tok/YT Shorts, etc

Be ready and available to create strategic and timely content regarding relevant topics and events

Ensure posts are shared on Instagram, Facebook, Houzz, Google My Business regularly

See to it work post are then posted on the website via the submission form

Run and update google ad words with relevant edits

Create a monthly newsletter to send monthly

Keep up to date with the trends of social media and algorithms to ensure optimized posting


Find opportunities as needed

Act as a liaison between design and company reps for print design when available

Create print media when needed

Ensure marketing materials are in stock and request a reorder for items we are low on

Referral cards/business/cards/folders/etc


Suggest new ways of creative marketing when applicable

While the most tasks can be performed remote the assistant should plan to be in the office 1x a week to work and meet with the office manager as needed

Communicate with team members through appropriate means

Utilize google calendar to show the schedule of a schedule of week

Learn products and know sell points and be able to discuss with a client

Assist with home show set up/breakdown and during the event

Ensure tracking of leads in the system is going well and coordinate with team members to ensure it is being inputted correctly

Ensure lead points are in the system and removed when no longer relevant

Assist with any other items needed by the office manager


Complete weekly reports of the status of work

Report on networking events and progress

Completely tasking in a timely manner

Turn in any other reports as requested by the office manager

Required Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of marketing tactics

Strong verbal and written communication

Strong networking skills and great personality

Able to work with multiple software programs

Knowledge of gSuite

Transportation to and from work and events

Able to adapt to new tasks and procedures quickly

Able to manage time well and complete tasks in a timely manner

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years of related experience are required. Marketing credentials or equivalent experience required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desks

Must be able to use a keyboard and mouse for typing

Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs or more

Stooping, bending, crouching may be required for moving parcels

Able to operate a vehicle

Must be able to speak, hear and understand instructions accurately and quickly

Hearing: must be adequate for phone use and in-person conversations

Vision: needs to be able to see the computer screen and across the room well. If needed proper corrective lenses must be worn

Must have access to his or her own computer for work
