About the Role

As a Mechanical Fitter within Rental Tooling, you will provide support for the installation, maintenance and repair of internal factory equipment. You will develop your expertise and knowledge to identify preventive maintenance. You'll provide guidance to team members and oversee activities to ensure the safety and reliability of essential tools to our business.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing support for assembly and testing of subsea equipment to ensure quality and Health Safety Environmental compliance.
  • Assembling subsea equipment and components from specifications and drawings for customer requirements.
  • Strip down and refurbishment of returning equipment for inspection.
  • Pressure-testing and flushing according to Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) to ensure required standards are met.
  • Engaging with Quality Management Systems to ensure recording of defects and errors in-line with company procedures.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to share information and updates relating to project completion.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have experience within an assembly or mechanical background.
  • Show experience of pressure testing and flushing in accordance with test procedures.
  • Be able to read, understand and interpret engineering documentation.
  • Be an experienced problem solver, with an analytical approach to identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Have a basic IT understanding of MS Office and the ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Have good knowledge of HSE requirements and be able to follow safety policies and procedures.
