Role: Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

Location: North West, Liverpool/Manchester Area

Salary: £50 - £60k plus £6,500 car allowance with Benefits

We are looking to recruit a procurement and supply chain manager who can support a well-known client in the telecoms industry with their full fibre network build program (Client Side) in Lancashire. No two days will be the same, this is a role that will work across the business to establish looking for an individual to develop and implement streamlined processes that are focused on, improving efficiency, control costs and monitor performance.

As the procurement and supply chain manager your focus will be to develop and maintain the procurement strategy across the business. You will work closely with all key stakeholders to understand their requirements and work together on ensuring projects and stock control levels are met on time and in budget.

You will have a proven background in procurement management preferably within a relative industry and have experience in procuring agreements across the business from systems and IT, this role is to establish and manage preferred suppliers relationships, developing strong relationships with suppliers to deliver business requirements.

Responsibilities:

Ensure projects and stock levels are met on time and within budget to enable the network deployment and key business goals

Manage relationships with all suppliers and carry out service review meetings to ensure contract deliverables are met and achieve GDPR compliance

Identify and negotiate agreements on suitable locations for technical sites to empower build deployment across the UK

Establish and procure the company fleet requirements that supports business needs in a cost-effective way (vehicles/mobiles)

Carrying out data analysis to identify issues and/or opportunities for improvements and identify new sources of supply for the business to deliver efficiencies and cost savings

The ideal person will:

Have a Procurement and Supply Chain background

Have knowledge of low-cost sourcing and be able to negotiate with new and existing suppliers.

Supplier relationship management is a must along with being experienced in implementing Supply Chain functions.

Have very good IT and spreadsheet skills and well as being highly numerate

Keen eye for unique, innovative, and attractive products that support business compliance and innovation
