Registered Nurse (RGN) - Private Hospital Location: North of Watford - Hertfordshire Position: Registered Nurse RGN / Ward Nurse Care Categories: Ward / Staff Nurse Salary: £27,500 - £33,000 - negotiable depending on experience Hours: Full time 37.5 (No Nights) Contract type: Maternity cover (15 Month Contract + opportunity for perm) About the service: We are delighted to be recruiting for an Registered Nurse ( RGN ) to join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their bright and vibrant private hospital just north of Watford in Hertfordshire. The hospital is ideally situated within easy reach of Hatfield, St Albans, Stevenage, Watford, North London and throughout Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Registered Nurse ( RGN ) to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital in their expanding hospital north of Watford. The hospital offers a range of services including specialist rehabilitation physiotherapy and outpatient diagnostic facilities including fast-track access to X-ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound. The hospital has 10 consulting rooms and 3 treatments rooms, focusing on ENT, Gynae and Minor Op's. This role is based within Outpatients and would consists of working well with care assistance and the outpatient manager, dealing with referrals and surgical procedures. About the role: You will be working on the Surgical Ward as part of our nursing team and will be responsible for: Delivering the highest quality of outpatient care to patients Working well as part of a supportive team, offering knowledge and support as well as working well independently Assessing patient needs with enthusiasm and empath, always ensuring safety and comfort of patients Planning, implementing and evaluating care programs, keeping in line with policies and guidelines Carrying out clinical nursing procedures, including administering medication, assistance with minor procedures, monitoring vital signs, venepuncture and chaperoning Keeping patient medical records, up to date, accurate and managing them on an IT System Who we're looking for; Be NMC registered RGN - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions Eligibility to live and work in the UK Previous outpatient experience, within surgical care carrying our minor procedures Experience working within the private sector is desirable Phlebotomy, cannulation, ECGs, and intravenous antibiotics would be an advantage.
