About the Team

Zoom's Global Payments Team is looking to add a Senior Payments Analyst to the team. We're looking for a highly organized and efficient professional who can wear multiple hats throughout the workday while prioritizing the most important tasks on your list. You will shape and drive payments strategy and operations to ensure optimal payment performance for a global ecommerce footprint.

About the Role

Strategic Initiatives:
  • Understand the existing business processes / ecosystem and help establish the next generation payment strategy.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement strategic programs that help improve authorizations, improve costs, and offer a greater outreach to customers.
  • Identify areas of improvement based on data analysis related to fraud, authorizations, costs and customer experience, and develop programs.
  • Participate in product development life cycles and provide insights related to payment flows.
Operational Activities
  • Work with data science to ensure accurate reporting of authorization rates / costs.
  • Support a variety of account and payment administration tasks relating to daily finance and client support queries
  • Reduce friction by bridging the gap between manual process and system improvements and bug fixes
  • Provide ad-hoc support & reports requested by other cross-teams
  • Establish and monitor payments Measurements that help develop tactics to improve payments performance, including supporting direct to consumer market launches across the globe
  • Help develop ad-hoc analysis, reports, presentations, and special projects for Senior Management
  • Track payment vendors and partners changes and payments industry trends using a variety of research resources
About You
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Applied Sciences.
  • Solid background in payment processing with a major merchant or payment processor.
  • Strong analytical skills including prior experience in development / data mining for business purposes.
  • Strong data skills Snowflake SQL / Tableau.
  • 5+ years' experience in a fast-paced technology company with knowledge of Finance, E-commerce, Customer Service-like processes.
  • Experience with payment processors like Stripe, Adyen, and PayPal.
  • Experience implementing alternate payment methods worldwide.
  • Experience with recurring payments preferred.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Quick learner, problem solver, team player.
