Halcyon are working closely with a family owned organisation based across the West Midlands, that have been providing specialist residential care to children with varying emotional and behavioural needs for over 10 years. Having initially started their journey helping children through foster care in the earlier 2000's, they wanted to be able to help more than one or two children at a time, which saw them transition into children's residential services in 2010.
With the first residential service being a huge success, they were able to use this therapeutic model in their plans of building for the future... fast-forward 12 years, and they now have numerous services throughout the West Midlands, all providing bespoke care to children who really need it the most, helping them to truly make progress and prepare them for the best future possible.
As a senior care practitioner, working with this family-oriented care provider, It will be your responsibility to ensure that the best therapeutic care is being delivered to the children in the home at all times. You will play a pivotal role in delivering the ethos of the organisation as a member of their front-line care team. You will be teaching and mentoring other members of your support team, ensuring best practises are consistently adhered to, through your own example. This could be a fantastic opportunity for a support worker that is looking to take their first step into a role with more responsibility, or for an already qualified senior to join an organisation that offers true progression for the future.
In return for your full commitment to this role, you will be offered an annual salary of between £22,000 and £32,000 depending on your experience. You will be joining an established team that offers support and guidance throughout your journey as a social care professional, along with a generous benefits package and holiday allowance.
