We are seeking a Support Engineer Intern position responsible for work on exciting projects and technologies with like minded people.

What you bring to the table

  • 1+ year experience in support role deploying, supporting and maintaining production applications.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems such as JIRA/asana or github issues.
  • Understanding of blockchain technology.
  • Solid understanding of how to compile and debug popular frameworks in different technologies, node, c++, rust etc.
  • Conceptual understanding of p2p networking, network protocols and OSI model.
  • Taking up communication with people, finding the issue they are facing and helping them to get it sorted.
  • Professional working knowledge of English language.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with smart contracts using ink!, solidity or other platforms.
  • Customer handling experience.
  • Hands on development experience working on any blockchain.
  • Knowledge of Substrate framework.

Things you will do

  • Being the first line of technical support for people wanting to set up peaq network nodes and applications on their infrastructure.
  • Providing people with support over public forums.
  • Assessing the problems faced and performing basic troubleshooting to determine if an issue should be further escalated.
  • Fixing issues and communicating back to the community.
  • Working on answering simple support requests from potential customers about peaq service.
  • Setting up a local proxy to debug outgoing Web3 requests.
